How often should I flush water outlets?

Flush outlets often enough that no outlet passes the stagnation threshold, 7 days by default. A flush must last at least 2 minutes to be registered.

Ways to log a flush

• Automatic: sensors detect flushes from temperature changes on the pipe.
• Log Flushing quick action on the dashboard.
• Flushed on an open stagnation alert.

Plan ahead

Enable a flushing schedule in the asset's action plan to create recurring flush tasks (default every 7 days) on the Scheduling page. This helps staff flush before stagnation alerts trigger.
