Install in a truck or cold box

The device sends over NB-IoT. The probe measures the load.

Every install

1. Open the lid. Press and hold the button for 1 second. The LEDs start to blink. Bluetooth should be active. See LED and button.
2. Scan the QR with the Tempivo app or a partner app.
3. Mount the device with the optional screw bracket, or with the 3M adhesive bracket.
4. Place the probe in the air or load you care about.
5. Wait until status is online. Check temperature.

NB-IoT coverage is strong almost everywhere. Placement of the device is rarely the issue.

Truck

1. Mount on the cab wall, an outer wall, or a plastic box.
2. Route the probe cable into the cargo space through a door seal. Do not crush the cable.
3. Put the probe in the air stream, not on the cooling unit.

Cold box

1. Keep the probe inside. Keep it off the evaporator and the door. Leave slack in the cable.
2. Confirm the device is on and status is online.
